Monday, March 2nd Clinic Report.

Just back from the clinic.  Long day today.   Labs, visit with nurse, visit with P.A., took half my staples out, then visited with the dietician.   Labs were good.  Kidney function great.   Predisone is causing blood sugar to be erratic.  However, it is manageable.  Also, I ate too many tomatoes in a salad and then had tomato basil soup for dinner.  Potassium was a touch high.   However, all this is manageable and can be dealt with.  The main thing is that the kidney function and blood pressure is just great.   Once I’m on a lower dose of prednisone the blood sugar will take care of itself and the blood pressure will come even lower.   Go for just labs tomorrow to recheck the potassium.  Then on Wednesday I have a Glofil test to do a true measure of my kidney’s function.   Wednesday will be at least 3 hours at the clinic.

In my opinion all is very good.
