A Comment from Sheila….

I would also like to take this opportunity to say, “Thank you,” to Keith and Kate again. To hear Scott say that “all the problems associated with little to no kidney function are gone” is really a miracle. He rarely complained, went in to work, and took care of things around the house until the day before he left for Dallas, however, I know there were days when he didn’t think he would make it to the surgery date without dialysis. We are ALL so thankful for this gift and look forward to the day when he can come home. Keith, we pray for your continued recovery and overall good health.

Thank you to everyone in Lufkin who has helped take care of us. We appreciate your cards, calls, emails, dinners, and help taking care of our dogs on the weekends while we are in Dallas.

We love you all,

    Hi Sheila:

So glad to hear that everything is continuing to go well for Scott and Keith….it is truly a miracle and just so wonderful!

I will continue to keep you all in my prayers and just lift you up that you get the rest you need and have safe travels as you go to Dallas and back….hopefully that won’t be much longer and Scott will get to be with you guys in Lufkin!!!

I know you appreciate your neighbors and all helping with the dogs – but I have a feeling…knowing you like I do….your neighbors and friends haven’t done anything that you wouldn’t have done for them if the situation were reversed…..you and Scott as well as your girls are very wonderful people and I know that you all would do the exact same thing that your friends and neighbors have done for you all! 🙂

    Love you guys very much!!!!

I am kind of busy but if you need me to send Demesa and the girls over there to help out with anything, let me know. 😉

Sheila, We are just grateful to God and give all glory to Him for the success of the transplant and the great health of both Scott and Keith. I cannot say enough how humbling and awesome this experience has been for us. Be careful driving to Dallas today, and enjoy your time with Scott. I’m praying that he is released soon and can return home where he belongs!
    Love to you, Kate
