Early Wednesday Morning….

Woke up very early today.   Have a few things on my mind as you might imagine.   Not the least of which is a legal project I needed to finish today.  Got up about 5:30 and read that project over.  Dictated a couple of letters and some instructions and slipped it all in an overnight package to go back to the office.

Keith and I are having breakfast at a cafe near the hospital.  Then it is off to appointments for the both of us.  He has to get pre-admitted to the hospital and have a chest x-ray and an EKG.   Somewhat of a formality since he just had all this done a couple of weeks ago.

I’m off to see the nephrologist at 11am and the surgeon at 12:30.

My Girls will get here about 3 this afternoon and we will get them settled.

Thanks to the Brandon Elementary Staff for your generosity to my family.  Thanks to Mrs. Jost (the Brandon Principal) for her understanding and compassion.

Thanks to the Soccer Sister Family for your generosity.

We are truly blessed by great friends, co-workers and teammates.

One last observation:   Dallas is not as peaceful as Lufkin.   Even in this nice area there is traffic noise, aircraft noise, sirens, etc.   During the day that is O.K., but at night…..not so much.

More later.

    Hi Scott!
Please get well soon! We want you to be well so you can play with us at the beach this summer. You are fun. I think Lauren and Allison will like your new apartment. Have good dreams during surgery. We will pray for you tomorrow.
    Love,
    Erin and Tate
